I loved by tacos camarones, Kimberly Lynn did not love her meal. Great service!
My family and I have only been here twice but since I got back from a central American country this is the closest I can find to that level of authenticity. The music is real, the time care and effort applied to each freshly made meal is real, the attention to each customer is real. This place made me feel like I took a step out of Asbury and went right back into my trip. I will say that if you don't speak Spanish you might want to have your translation app available because not everyone there speaks English BUT struggling through sounding like a fool mixed with pointing and smiling is totally worth it. The drinks are either genuinely natural or imported and soo much better than store bought "juice". Also this is NOT a place to grab a quick bite. It's the place to sit and enjoy the space with the people you enjoy the most. We will definitely return!
Great food and atmosphere! I love this place, 10/10 recommend.
This is a very nice little Mexican place with some decent authentic tacos. I grew up in SoCal, so I take my Mexican very seriously. My girlfriend and I shared orders of the tongue (lengua), barbacoa, and al pastor tacos. She really liked the tongue while I thought the barbacoa was the most flavorful. They weren't the best tacos I've had, even in NJ, but I really appreciated the selection they had. The service was not the most attentive, but it's a nice place if you're not in a hurry, and probably the best Mexican you can get in the area. Overall, we were both happy
I have eaten here many times and the food is always fresh. It’s a small place to eat but I like the rustic atmosphere. I’ve had such flavorful food and the cost was worth the portions. I had nothing to complain about even with the language barrier. Everyone was pleasant, we were seated fairly quickly and we had some nachos and fresh salsa while we figured what to order. I suggest trying the Casameinto because it’s prices just right plus the taste is amazing. I will always visit the store, order for pick or call for delivery at least twice a month.
Good flavors. I had 3 taco meal. I appreciated that they weren't overly salted as can happen sometimes. Very friendly staff.
La mejor comida mexicana en Nueva Jersey. I have had a lot of the food from this place and it never disappoints. The atmosphere feels authentically Mexican, the staff is friendly, the music is good, the drinks are good.. it's probably one of the best spots to find authentic Mexican food at the Jersey shore hands down.
